Women of the congregation meet the second Wednesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at 2:00 P.M. for Bible study, under the leadership of Garnet Stanley. We profit not only from learning more about the Bible, but also in growing fellowship with each other.

Each year pledge cards are sent to each woman of the congregation explaining the various annual projects undertaken by PWC and the need for contributions to support them since PWC receives no funding from the church budget. Some of these worthy projects are as follows: Goodland Boys' Home, support of Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery-Synod, Church Worldwide Mission, an annual Thank offering, including Health Ministries, and an annual Presbytery birthday offering. Through the generosity of PWC and its friends and guests, we are able to contribute to these worthy projects.

Locally, we support "Solemates," which provides shoes for local children, funeral dinners, kitchen maintenance, mailing costs, Christmas gifts for church personnel, maintenance of the memorabilia and memorial hallway, and occasional emergency local-aid. A new project is "Centsible Meals." All members of the church are encouraged to save a penny per meal per month to be donated to the Blackwell Ministerial Alliance for their food voucher program.

We prepare and serve funeral dinners for families of members who have died. Our group hosts a planning session, a luncheon meeting for representatives from the other churches in the Presbytery. PWC is at the heart of church activities and welcomes all women in the congregation and guests to join them.
