With the support and generous giving of our "Church family," the Board of Deacons continues to be successful, reaching and passing all goals set. Our projects include:

	Mother's day and Father's day observance, with presentation of a poem or song and a flower or candy.
	"Share the Harvest," which set a new goal of $1,000.00, allowing us to present Associated Charities with a check to purchase the "food staples" that are most needed during different seasons of the year.
	"Meals on Wheels" deliveries, made possible by volunteers during July.
	Food items for Associated Charities is very successful. Often more than 100 items are delivered in a month.
	Hosting the children's Christmas party
	"Adopting" a family at Christmas through Associated Charities and providing gifts to Hillcrest Nursing Home residents.
	A monthly communion service for Hillcrest Nursing Home residents; cards and caring provided to shut-ins.
	Supporting "Souper Bowl" Sunday, a nationwide project to "Feed the Hungry."
