~Sunday is the date of our Annual Congregational Meeting and Chili/Stew Dinner. Plan to be here as we learn what is going on in the church and what the plans are for the future. We will elect officers for 2012-2015 and appoint members at large for the nominating committee. It is also Souper Bowl Sunday. Share your caring spirit by bringing a can of soup and dropping a dollar bill in the kettle. Our gifts will be given to the Associated Charities.

~Sunday is the first Sunday of the month so it’s time to bring the pennies for “Centsible Meals.” This is the project sponsored by PWC for each of us to bring one penny per each meal during the month. A glass bowl will be placed in the front for the donations which will go to Associated Charities and their food ministry.

~ATTENTION: LADIES IN THE CONGREGATION: All women of the church are members of the PWC --- Presbyterian Women in the Congregation. Please remember in considering your annual pledge, the women's organization receives no money from the church's budget. We operate solely on your contributions. Last year, only 30 ladies contributed to PWC. Won't you please make PWC a part of your Christian giving for this year? You may return your pledge and check (made out to “PWC”) to Marian M. Darwin, PWC Treasurer, 424 South First St., Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631-3220, or you may leave your pledge check in the church office, or in the offering plate at church services if you choose. ~Continue to bring your recyclables. BE SURE TO RINSE OUT PLASTICS AND CANS! We always need volunteers to help take the recyclables to the center. Please help if you can.
